It's set to be the cult movie event of 2007; two directors, two movies and whole lot of blood! From Quentin Tarantino (Pulp Fiction) and Robert Rodriguez (Sin City) comes Grindhouse, the double-bill movie homage to the 70s sleaze genre, starring a host of A-list cult actors including Kurt Russell (Poseidon), Rose MacGowan (Charmed), Michael Biehn (Aliens), Rosario Dawson (Sin City) and Naveen Andrews (Lost).

One an actor, one a musician, both directors, writers and producers. Over the past twelve years, Robert Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino have forged their talents in cult cinematic landmarks such as Desperado, From Dusk Til Dawn and Sin City, establishing themselves as a formidable double act. Now, these two gurus of Hollywood have united once more to present the most hotly anticipated cult movie of 2007: Grindhouse!

The term 'grind house' is a synonymous with the sensationalised, low-quality, double-bill movies of the '70s; cheap-thrills gore and sexploitation that influenced Tarantino and Rodruiguez and inspired them to make this ultimate ode to the genre! Coming to cinemas later this year, Grindhouse keeps with tradition by combining two movies back to back Tarantino's slasher film, Death Proof, and Rodriguez's zombie flick, Planet Terror joined together by fake trailers directed by Eli Roth (Hostel) and Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead). Featuring a galaxy of cult stars, including Kurt Russell (Poseidon), Rose MacGowan (Charmed), Michael Biehn (Aliens), Rosario Dawson (Sin City), Naveen Andrews (Lost) and even Tarantino himself, this movie event promises horror, humour and a heavy dose of traditional grind house sleaze!

Grindhouse is due for UK release 6th April 2007.
